Pocket-lint has just had word from Acer that the Acer CloudMobile smartphone has received the iF design award 2012, in recognition of outstanding achievement in design.
Featuring sleek curves in all the right places and thin side bezels, the Acer CloudMobile is one attractive-looking phone.
It features a 4.3 HD display, Dolby sound and a thickness of less than 10mm.
On the software side, the Acer CloudMobile is said to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
According to its makers the Acer CloudMobile is the first smartphone to offer AcerCloud technology, and it “enhances mobile productivity by providing seamless document management“.
Currently Acer hasn’t revealed any other specs or details but will fully announce the phone at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona Spain later this month.

Acer is apparently preparing the launch of a new handset on the US market, none other than the Liquid Glow, a new listing at the FCC shows. Acer Iconia Smart Hybrid Phone Coming in September
Acer has finally mange to give a launch date for its Iconia Smart handset, which is now promised to arrive sometime in September.
