Cirago CDD2000 USB 3.0 Hard Drive Docking Station

The USB 3 stuff is not yet common but there’s always something new comes up almost everyday. Cirago has been releasing storage and wireless solutions for a long time and the company came up with new product, Cirago CDD2000 USB 3.0 Hard Drive Docking Station.

The CDD2000 USB 3.0 Hard Drive Docking Station is capable of offering high-performance data transfer of up to 5 Gbps, where it will play nice with both 2.5 and 3.5 SATA I and II hard drives with plug-and-play ease and hot-swappable convenience.

The device has a sleek design which is quite cool looking on the desktop, coming in a compact size that saves space on your desktop into your cubicle or workspace unlike those big casings.

“The USB 3.0 docking station is ideal for anyone who wants to upgrade their PC, but keep the hard drive—and all its stored data—accessible on their new machine,” said Dean Basilio, Vice President of International Sales and Marketing at Cirago. “With the docking station, you just drop in the old drive and it’s immediately accessible for additional storage capacity or accessing data stored on the drive. And, because it features the latest USB technology, it offers high-performance speed for quick and seamless access.”

This dock makes life much easier than using an external enclosure just pop it in and you’re ready to go, no installing, no screws etc and supports hotswap.

It can deliver read/write speed for Internal SATA at 73MB/sec read, USB 2.0 at 32.5MB/sec, USB 3.0 at 55MB/sec. The Cirago CDD2000 USB 3.0 hard drive dock is bundled with USB 3.0 cable and a UL-certified power adapter for added reliability and safety.

The dock retail for $50 a piece and should already be out at major electronics retailers and e-tailers.
