The cutely named Ego WiFi HD Camera offers all the go anywhere fun of an action camera, but with two crucial differences.

First it takes full 1080p high definition footage, and second it can stream a live feed of the footage to any nearby smartphone, which opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

If you’re not certain how a particular video clip is going to look, just log in to the Ego’s wireless WiFi feed and check it out real time.

Or you could set the camera up on a static mount and watch the video remotely on your phone as it’s being captured (useful for those dangerous underwater shark situations, maybe?)
