LG IPS277L And IPS237L Monitor With Invisible Bezel & MHL Connectivity
LG has just launched a new line of IPS monitors with Cinema design and MHL connectivity.
The IPS7 series features an almost invisible bezel (1.2 millimeter thickness) for an unobstructed entertainment experience and a sophisticated, modern appearance.
There are two monitors in LG’s press release, the IPS277L 27” display and the IPS237L 23” model.
Both feature the standard FullHD 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution, a modest 250nit brightness and 178/178 viewing angles.
The monitor’s total thickness has been reduced to just 14.1 millimeters, which is about 0.55”.
The monitor comes with D-Sub and HDMI connectivity and some models feature USB.
The HDMI connector is MHL-compliant. MHL is a standard to connect mobile devices to high-definition televisions using modified cables that usually have a HDMI connector at one end.
The LG IPS7 Series will first become available in South Korea, China and Hong Kong with a the displays rolling out to international markets over the next few months.
No word on pricing yet though.

LG 27EN43V-B 27-Inch LED Monitor
Here we have another upcoming LCD monitor from LG, the 27EN43V-B. Adopting a TN panel, this new 27-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles. LG has showed off another one of its upcoming Full HD monitor, the 22EA53VQ-P. Adopting the AH-IPS panel, this 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles, and features mini D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI connectors.
