Lian Li announced a new ATX supported chassis that features a side mounted power supply design.
The PC-V650 is shorter than most ATX chassis yet doesn’t sacrifice the space builders need.
The PC-V650 measures 14.1 inches tall and 9.8 inches wide.
The power supply (up to 9 inches in length) is mounted sideways, parallel to the expansion slots.
The PC-V650 supports up to seven 3.5-inch hard drives (two hot-swappable) and four 2.5-inch hard drives.
You can remove the bottom 3.5-inch HDD cage which contains four 3.5-inch slots in order to make room for expansion cards up to 370mm (14.5 inches) in length.
There is space for one 5.25-inch drive above the hard drive cages.
Other features of the PC-V650 include two removable 140mm fans, a 140mm fan on the top, a 120mm fan in the rear, room for CPU coolers up to 120mm, and support for water cooling.
In terms of connectivity, the front I/O panel on the chassis features one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, HD Audio connections, and a card reader.
