Motorola Mobility in partnership with Intel Corporation introduced the powerful Motorola RAZR i with Intel Inside: the new full-screen smartphone that fits in the palm of your hand.
Unveiled at an event in London attended by The INQUIRER this morning, the Motorola Razr I features a 2GHz single-core Intel Atom processor.
This processor also helps deliver excellent battery life, Motorola claims, saying that the 2,000mAh battery will last for around 20 hours of average to heavy use.
The Motorola RAZR i features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display and it comes with an 8 megapixel camera which can record HD video, the camera also features a BSI sensor, HDR and a 10 shot feature.
On the front of the Motorola RAZR i is a 0.3 megapixel camera for video calls and it also comes with a battery that is apparently 40 percent more powerful than the ‘competition’.
The Motorola Razr i will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but Moto assures that the phone will be upgraded to Jelly Bean in due course.
Motorola will be leaving the bootloader unlocked, too, for those who want to modify their handset.
The Motorola RAZR i will hit select markets – including the UK on Orange, T-Mobile, Phones 4U, Virgin Media, and Tesco, and several countries in Europe – from the beginning of October.
There’s no word on its pricing yet.
