NTT DoCoMo will launch the new Fujitsu Raku-Raku smartphone in Japan on August 1, 2012.
Raku-Raku (“easy-to-use”) Smartphone is designed to be easily operated by first-time smartphone users, and is equipped with the latest hardware and software while leveraging the voice and universal design technologies cultivated in previous models of the Raku-Raku Phone series.
Fujitsu has developed a new Raku-Raku Touchscreen configured to detect differences between a finger stroke and a tap.
Available in Gold, Navy, and Pink variants, the smartphone also features an easy-to-use user interface, a loud-volume telephone receiver speaker and a simple menu.
Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.
Fujitsu earlier announced the Arrows Z ISW13F in Japan. The Arrows Z runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor running at 1.5GHz. There's 16GB of onboard storage plus micro SD capability for cards up to 32GB. On the back of the handset is a 13.1-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture.
