A US retailer has already begun taking pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 10.1 before Samsung has even mentioned anything about a release.
Negri Electronics is accepting pre-orders for a price tag of $750 (£483) and claims it will ship within a matter of days.
It’s not just hollow words either, the company tweeted a picture of the device in its box with the lid removed as proof it has stock of the HSPA + enabled, quad core Exynos-powered slate.
We expect that if the device does hit US customers within the next week we’ll be seeing it in the UK either around the same time or not long after.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 was originally unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in January but disappeared shortly afterwards with Samsung saying it had been ‘testing the water’.
The device re-emerged recently with a new look, a quad core processor and, according to reports, 2GB of RAM.
The company announced it would be hosting a Galaxy launch event in the US on August 15 and it could be the Galaxy Note 10.1’s official unveiling.
More recently, Samsung has revealed a second event on August 29 in Berlin will reveal the successor to the original 5.3-inch Galaxy Note smartphone.
