Sharp Galapagos A01SH 7-inch Tablet
Sharp has decided introduced its new 7-inch tablet in Japan, the Sharp Galapagos A01SH, where it will be the third device in the Galapagos family.
It is a 7-inch tablet with a display resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset clocked at 1GHz, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.
A couple of cameras are in tow as well – a 5-megapixel main one with autofocus and LED flash and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter for self-portraits and video conversations.
Android 3.2 Honeycomb will be the operating system of choice and its battery provides enough juice for up to 7.5-hour of battery life.
Dimensions of Sharp Galapagos A01SH are 195 x 122 x 11.9 ~ 12.6 mm and weight 389grams.
No idea on pricing just yet but it will be released in Japan later this month.
