The new Sharp RW-T107 is a business-oriented tablet that comes equipped with a built-in NFC and RFID readers.
This Android tablet will only support Japanese FeliCa cards at the start, and will be able to be used in stores to read membership cards, IDs, loyalty cards, and more – get some coupons to grab some awesome cheap food and such!
Weighing at just 395 grams, the tablet has a 7-inch (1024×600) display, a fast 1GHz TI OMAP4430 processor, a microUSB slot, an HDMI port, a SIM card slot, and a headphone jack.
Powered by the Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, the gadget also features an 8GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 5,400mAh battery, GPS, a gyro sensor, a 3MP rear-facing camera, and a 2MP front-facing camera.
Currently the new Sharp RW-T107 Android Tablet is only being released in Japan and Sharp have not divulged if the tablet will make it any further at the current time. 5,000 Sharp RW-T107 units will be arriving in Japan on the 6th September, unfortunately no detailed specifications or prices have yet been unveiled by Sharp.
