Sony Xperia V Waterproof Smartphone
Alongside the Xperia T, Sony Mobile also brings the Xperai V to the IFA 2012 in Berlin.
While share many of the features as Xperia T, the Xperia V adds LTE capability for high-speed data network connection and IP57 dust and water resistance, which is the highest level in smartphone.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Qualcomm MSM8960 dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
It is probably the first phone to support penta-band (Band I, Band III, Bandv V, Band VII and Band XX) LTE mobile networks.
While getting the same 13 Megapixel fast capture camera with Exmor R sensor and Full HD video recording as the Xperia T, the Xperia V comes with a smaller 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine2 and replaces the 720p front-facing camera with a VGA camera.
Other features include Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi 802.11n, DLNA, NFC and MHL.
The PlayStation certified handset comes with Walkman application and xLOUD sound enhancement and supports Sony Entertainment Network.
The Sony Xperia V runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
It comes in black, pink and white colors.
Sony will release it in Q4.
