When did Samsung Bixby start?
Bixby debuted back in 2017 with Galaxy S8. And everyone was truly surprised with this kind of move from Samsung. To develop its own digital assistant, with a physical key dedicated to invoke it as well. Given that Google already has developed an outstanding digital assistant on Android. And truth to be told when compared with actual Bixby, Google assistant often performs much better that Bixby. But non the less Bixby is truly a great assistant in most cases. One mistake that Samsung has made is that the button that is exclusively made for calling Bixby, can easily be repurposed for other functions.
It’s hard to imagine that Bixby could ever triumph over Google Assistant and many Samsung users choose to use Google assistant over Bixby. But Bixby is still here, its working great and more and more people are starting to use it. What will be Bixby’s destiny only time will tell, but for now let’s have fun with my Bixby level while it’s still here.
